Using Zip Files in SharePoint
1. Upload .zip file to SharePoint library.
2. To extract the documents you have to open the SharePoint Library using Explorer View. *Note: This will only work for Windows XP, Vista doesn't have this capability.
To do this, click “Actions” from the library menu.
3. Select “ Open with Windows Explorer”

4. Right-click on the File name and select “Extract All”

5. This will open an extraction wizard. Click “Next” to begin the extraction.

6. Select the location for the extracted documents. Click “Next”

7. Click “Finish”

8. A new file has been created in the SharePoint Library with the extracted files.
